Shocking: 80-Year Old Woman Flaunts Surgically Enhanced Body At Beachside

Okay! This is crazy! I know but after careful examination, the only conclusion that I arrived at was, this grandma is looking to turn some heads in shock, surprise, admiration or even disgust to some because I don’t know of any other reason why she’d flaunt her surgically enhanced body in a beach wear as this.
www.facebook.comThe woman, said to be in her eighties, took a confident stroll to the beach where her appearance elicited some fun of laughter from the kids around and even shock while yet some others marveled at her self-confidence.
What do you think motivated her to dress in a ‘G-String’ to the beach?

UPDATE: Cynthia Osokogu Was Killed By Her Facebook Friends

24 Year Old Cynthia Osokogu departed from Abuja in late July 2012 (according to reports, on the 22nd of July 2012). The master student of Nasarawa State University was a clothing retailer and had traveled to Lagos to purchase new stock.

Cynthia had been chatting with some new “friends” on Facebook for a few months. In the course of their conversations, they developed a friendship and a level of trust. These young men were also university students, they promised to host Cynthia when she came to Lagos.
There were rumours that they paid for her plane ticket and promised to pay for her hotel as well.
The two young men picked Cynthia up from the airport in Lagos and drove her to a hotel in Festac. At the hotel, they tied her up, robbed her of all the money she brought to shop for her business and strangled her to death. They then left the hotel and quickly deleted her from their Facebook friend list to remove any trace of their connection.
The hotel found her body and, since her ID cards and mobile phone had been stolen, they could not identify her or call friends and family. Her body was deposited in a morgue in Lagos. All this time, her family and friends were searching for the girl.
At some point, one of the culprits accidentally answered Cynthia’s phone and the call was traced to Festac. Therefore, her missing person’s police report was submitted to the Area E Command in Festac. This enabled her family to find her body in the morgue, and also led them to the hotel.
Using CCTV from the hotel, the killers were identified. According to reports, these two young men are university students who have now confessed that they killed Cynthia and she is their 6th  victim – the gang reportedly specializes in luring unsuspecting young women, robbing them of their possessions before killing them.
Though there is speculation that their motive was ritualistic, it appears that it was greed and their main goal was to rob and kill. The pharmacist who supplied the drugs used on Cynthia and hotel staff have also been arrested. According to the police spokesperson Ngozi Braide, “Six people were arrested on Sunday over the incident and investigations are ongoing”. As you can see, Cynthia is one of Nigeria’s numerous social media generation girls (with BB and a facebook account), this unfortunately led to her demise.

“President Is Human”: Why Jonathan Decided To “Come Down Hard On ASUU”

President Goodluck Jonathan might no longer be directly involved in negotiation with the lecturers: he is angry for the ASUU leaders’ contempt for the office of the President, their decision to issue new conditions and theim being allegedly backed by some external forces. After spending almost a week in Abuja in hopes of resuming talks, the ASUU leaders were eventually left with no other option but to go back to their campuses.A top leader of ASUU said on conditions of anonymity: “Our leaders have returned to their campuses. They were disappointed with the Area Boy or Agbero method adopted by the Minister.“The military style of the Minister of State for Education will only compound the situation.“So, we are back to our trenches as it was the situation during the military era. We are ready for the worst now. If the situation becomes uncontrollable, we will also go underground and resort to guerilla tactics.”Meanwhile, a source within the Federal Government said: “We hope that they will not overreach their bounds, because what they have done in the last four months amounted to economic sabotage.“If they continue to take the law into their hands by paralysing activities in the universities, we may try them for economic sabotage. This is also the extreme end the government may go too.“Let them study the enabling laws to see what they have been violating. We are not yet disposed to wielding the big stick, but if the government is pushed to the wall, it will invoke relevant laws to manage the situation. We are waiting for what they will do.”A different source added: “”ll the security agencies have been directed to protect lives and property on all the campuses nationwide, especially in the universities that have reopened.“Union leaders are also under watch to prevent recourse to self-help, which may lead to wanton destruction of property.“The government will not tolerate any intimidation or harassment, and any violent union leader risks being arrested. But those who restrict themselves to the confines of the law have nothing to fear.”On Jonathan’s position, a government source said: “We are trying to insulate the Office of the President from further negotiation with ASUU if at all the union will allow such or there will be room for such.“We think relevant ministers and the Committee of Pro-Chancellors/Vice-Chancellors should be able to handle the rest of the talks/negotiation.”According to investigation, the December 4, 2013 ultimatum given by the Minister of State for Education, Mr. Nyesom Wike, followed the directive of the Presidency. The government source added: “The President is angry because he over-indulged ASUU leaders. It is only in Nigeria you see the President sitting for 13 hours with union leaders on any issue and at the end of the day, there will be no courtesy from the union.“While the President was expecting feedback from ASUU leaders within 72 hours, they kept him in suspense for two weeks or more.“And instead of feedback on where the talks stopped, ASUU leaders came up with fresh conditions when even during the negotiation, they admitted that some of the clauses in 2009 agreement cannot be implemented.“The President is human. He now has every cause to believe that the strike action seems to have the backing of external forces seeking to bring his administration down. That was why he decided to come down hard on ASUU, too.”

asuu update

The Academic Staff Union of Universities on Wednesday said the ongoing strike by university lecturers would be suspended within 24 hours once the new resolutions reached with President Goodluck Jonathan on November 4 were accepted.
The union, however, described the statement credited to the Minister of Education, Nyesom Wike, that ASUU was making new outrageous demands as “untrue and absolute lie.”
The union said it asked President Jonathan to facilitate the endorsement of resolutions reached with him and signed by high ranking government official preferably the Attorney-General of the Federation but not a permanent secretary.

Stella Damasus, Doris Simeon, Marriage

Nigerian movie fans and lovers of Nollywood actress, DorisSimeon, have descended on A-List actressStella Damasus,blasting her for not urging her live-in lover, Daniel Ademinokan,Doris' ex-husband, to return Doris’ son, David, to her. A few days ago, it was all over the news that Daniel has returned the young boy who has been separated from his mother for over a year, to her. But Doris’ media people immediately came out to debunk the story, saying that the boy is still with Daniel and
Stella. Now, those who see the action as immoral are attacking Stella and want her to impress it on Daniel to return the toddler to his mother. These are what one of the fans had to say.
“This is so heart-breaking; how can a woman be ostracized from seeing her son? Every woman knows the pain of being separated from a child carried in the womb for nine months. Now I ask you this, Stella Damasus, you are crying against child bride and pursuing other campaign. Can you not feel Doris’ pain, the pain of a woman who carried a child for nine months and does not even get to speak to that child on the phone? You Stella are now with Daniel, Doris' ex-husband. Can you not implore this man to return David to his rightful mother or even initiate that he speaks to his mother on the phone? I hear David calls you ‘mummy’ and it makes you feel good? You are taking care of another woman's child against her will because you love that child's father?Stop trying to fight the wrong course Stella Damasus; I beg you in God's name, to beg Daniel on Doris' behalf. I do not care what a bad person Doris has been painted to be; she is David’s rightful mother; she carried him and nursed him.”

Nigeria [CBN] dumps polymer Bank notes for paper notes in 2014

The Central Bank of Nigeria has said it will  start printing the naira in paper notes in 2014.It signed a deal in 2006 with Australia’s Securency International to print lower more-circulated units of the naira in polymer, while higher denominations were kept in paper form. But six years after and following allegations that the manufacturer had bribed foreign officials to secure contracts, including in Nigeria, the CBN said it was being forced to reverse the policy.A report by AFP on Tuesday quoted the spokesman for the CBN, Mr. Ugochukwu Okoroafor, as saying, “Polymer has been on a test run since 2007. This explains why we did not go the whole hog by printing all the notes in polymer.“We only used polymer for N5, N10, N20 and N50, while N100, N200, N500 and N1,000 are in paper form. We soon discovered that the [polymer] notes easily fade out because of our peculiar hot climate in Nigeria… making them look tattered when in use over time.”Earlier experiments indicated that the polymer-based notes, which are in use in 23 countries around the world, including Australia, could last longer than traditional cotton-paper notes. But the CBN said there had been a public outcry about the poorer quality of some of the new currency in circulation.Securency International was reported to have supplied 1.9 billion of its guardian brand polymer-based notes to Nigeria between 2006 and 2008.In the wake of the bribery claims, the Reserve Bank of Australia sold its 50 per cent stake in the firm.Innovia Security, which bought out Securency International earlier this year, said it did not comment on clients or their business but added that a number of countries with hot and humid climates used their product.“We have had no issues of premature ink wear or color fading in these markets,” a spokesperson said in an e-mailed statement. The report said Nigeria, with a predominantly cash-based economy, was looking to increase people’s use of electronic payment methods such as credit cards, online trading and introducing cash-point machines in a bid to try to reduce the amount individuals could carry around. However, there are concerns that switching back to paper notes is a sign of a lack of a coherent policy.“My concern is that Nigeria is fond of policy somersaults,” said a former banker, Mr. Moruf Akamo. He also said, “What becomes of the initial investment in the polymer technology, considering that the notes have been in circulation for only six years after their adoption in 2007?”Akamo said the CBN should have done more research to ascertain the feasibility of polymer notes before starting the project.
